General George A. Custer

WELCOME TO THE GENERAL CUSTER WEB SITE

This site is dedicated to all of those who have an interest in the life and times of General George Armstrong Custer, the Battle of the Little Big Horn, and the impact of this battle on the evolution of our country, both red and white. Native American views are equally important and I welcome contributions from those wishing to present their concerns.  A Native American section is included for this purpose.  For most serious battle students, the role or the Native American has never been ignored or demeaned, as after all, they were the victors of the moment.  It is appropriate that the U.S. Park Service finally erected a sacred site at the battlefield honoring the fallen Native American defenders.

There are many more sophisticated websites from the more formal Custer organizations as well as individuals, and links to these sites are available within.  The focus of this site is to share with you a more varied, less political, and personal journey with Custer.  Here, I am not trying to sell you anything and you will not be bombarded with pop-up adds.  This site is just about Custer and you and me.

So, take a few moments to browse, come back periodically to see if any new items have been posted, and, of course, I welcome your comments and contributions.

GARRYOWEN!
